HIGHLAND PARK 1968 - DUNCAN TAYLOR

Highland Park, 1968 40yo 40.8%, cask#3465 28.03.68/11.11.08, Duncan Taylor 'Peerless'
Nose:
Even though from a bourbon cask you get some of the old traditional HP style on the nose here. Then something flowery, brinyness/coastel hints, like in a Pulteney

Taste:
Malty, sweetness (vanillas), some bitter oak, some ale notes, flowers again, vagely salted
A different HP...

85/100! (tasted 05-11-2011)
